Megan Cahill, LMSW
She/her/hers

Seeking care for your child, in any form, can be an uncomfortable step as a parent; Megan meets this step with understanding of that discomfort, as well as a deep sense of responsibility to both parent(s) and child, while bringing a genuine enthusiasm to work together as a team.

Gentle, committed, and attentive, Megan is devoted to nourishing and protecting every child’s unique spirit. Megan has a background working directly within the family unit through her role as a child caregiver, an experience that formulated a deeper appreciation for parent’s insight on their child, the worries that arise through each developmental stage, and how to act as a support to the individualized needs of each family.

Deeply humbled by the trust that parents place in their child’s therapist, Megan listens with the care and patience needed to understand and best support the people she works with.

Megan formalized her interest in family work by training and receiving her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2023. She has worked in a school setting where she provided psychotherapy and concrete support to children diagnosed with anxiety, autism, and PTSD, as well as those experiencing homelessness, school resistance, and food scarcity.
