Ann-Marie, a Licensed Master Social Worker, received her Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2024. She works from a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, drawing upon cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and play therapy. Her clinical experiences have been in elementary and middle schools, providing therapeutic support to the children and their families. Before training as a therapist, she worked on Wall Street in various corporate positions. With a background in human resources, well-being, and coaching, she brings a unique perspective to her work as a child therapist. Drawing from her expertise in well-being strategies, she is passionate about helping children navigate their own emotional challenges. Her coaching background has allowed her to adopt a strengths-based, empathetic approach that she will use to empower children to build resilience, manage emotions, and thrive. She understands the importance of creating a safe, nurturing space for young people to explore their feelings and develop coping mechanisms that support their overall mental health.
